The Pleasant
Avenue Day Care Center is a fully-funded, year-round child care facility serving children of families who meet ACS eligibility
standards.
The Center grew out of two other programs whose history dates back over 100 years. At its present
site since 1957, Pleasant Avenue was incorporated in 1970. Staffed by an experienced, dedicated and
diverse group of caring women and men, we serve children ages 2-4.
We work hard to: - provide
the best in quality day care service to low and middle-income families who live or work in East Harlem
- give individualized attention to each child, making each child feel special
- support parents in their effort to develop their child's full potential
